Live Free Distort
I would like to see the "Free Distort" effect be extended to work on the actual object, not going through a tiny dialog box that feels like I'm trying to apply it to a postage stamp. It's really difficult to apply a distorted shape to a larger area when I am guessing if a 1-pixel move of a tiny handle is going to make a difference or not. It would be amazing if four independent handles were on the actual art and allow me to move the corners exactly to the spot I want to place them at. It's a handy tool for the work I'm doing but would make my work much easier if it were more user-friendly. Right now it feels like a feature that is 1994-ish (and yes I was using Illustrator before then - still my favorite app of all time!)

Ah the free distort tool...
Maybe the only Ai tool to feel like it's trapped in the 90s. Please, oh, please can we get an update to this function! I still have a lot of use cases for this tool and would love to see this done outside of a dialog box so you can see your edits in context and live. Going to a fiddly little dialog box where you can't see surrounding elements is not the one! Having a live, on-canvas version of it would definitely make adjustments more intuitive and contextual.
Great tool but need's bringing into the modern day!
Thanks,

Possible de moderniser l'outil de distortion manuelle pour qu'il soit directement utilisable dans le plan de travail ?

Oh yeah.
There is another request about this, but it’s more about improving the existing dialog, rather than rethinking the workflow: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/39689032And I can’t but repeat again that Stylism tool by Astute Graphics does it exactly like it’s needed, with live on-canvas controls.
