Schriftanzeigeaktualisierungen beim Nachladen von fehlenden Schriften inclusive Aktualisierung bei Texten mit Silbentrennung.
Wenn Schriften nachgeladen werden, sei es manuell oder durch PlugIns, wird die Anzeige in Textfeldern mit Silbentrennung bezüglich der nachgeladenen Schrift NICHT aktualisiert.
Für die Anzeige ist die aktive Schrift + die eingestellte Sprache + das Wörterbuch von Bedeutung. Bei Änderung der aktiven Schrift durch nachladen, wird die Silbentrennung nicht automatisch aktualisiert.
Was zu falschen Umbrüchen im Dokument führen kann, welche nicht immer sofort bemerkt werden.
Eine Aktualisieren auch der Silbentrennung nach Laden einer Schrift bei einem geöffneten Dokument ist daher wünschenswert.

Fonts aktivated in ExtensisConenct will show up in AI here. Even our problem is also without extensis, when activating Fonts manually.

i created a testfile and made a screenrecording showing this issue. Files attached.
In the recording i manually deactivated and activated the font.At the beginning font is not active, i open the file, and activate the font. After that i closed the file and reopen it. Now the font is still active when opening the file and the hyphenation is updated.
About the PlugIns, we use ExtensisConnect. ANd yes i contacted the developer. They just activate the font and have nothing to do with rendering/displaying/interpreting the font.
The behavior is the same when i use the plugin instead of handling the font manually. -
Andreas, can you please share a simple test file and a video clearly showing the hyphenation staying non-updated when a font is reloaded?
You mention a plugin — which one is it? Have you contacted the plugin developer? -
