FIND SIMILAR FONTS - Doesn't work. And hasn't since 2018. Mac and Windows

As the title says.

Find similar fonts doesn't work on mac or pc. On any version. Even on freshly installed or brand new system.

This hasn't worked now since 2018. When will this be fixed?

Andy, please clarify — do you mean the Retype function? or the 'Show similar fonts' in the Character panel? or something else?
