Broken embedICCProfile in export
For TIFF, PSD exports, there are new ExportOptionsPhotoshop() and new ExportOptionsTIFF() in the ExtendScript object model, and a Boolean attribute embedICCProfile that embeds a color profile in exports. But if we set it to true, the profile still won't be embedded.
I've explored versions of Adobe Illustrator. Illustrator CS6 - embedICCProfile property worked, but in the next version of CC (v17) embedICCProfile was broken and in the next versions it didn't change, it's been ten years!
How to test:
1) Rename exportTif.txt to exportTif.jsx and run it. The script will export the first artboard of the document in TIFF to your desktop.
2) Check out the TIFF in Photoshop with the Info panel. Enable in Panel Options > Document Profile

Tried it again today and it does not embed profiles anymore in 28.5. Nothing changed compared to yesterday, no updates, reset or restart.

Both latest Beta and PR builds give me untagged, so yes, I confirm this.

It surprises me. I have both Windows 10 + CC 2024 v28.5 and macOS Monterey + v28.5. I don't see the problem fixed in either. The TIFF that the script exports has no embedded profile.

When I use the script it embeds a profile.
But from an Illustrator sRGB document it embeds a US Swop profile, while my color settings are set to European Fogra.
From a CMYK document it exports the correct profile (according to my settings Fogra).
