Turn Off Undo/Redo Buttons
I need a setting in the app settings that will allow users to turn off the undo and redo buttons at the top of the UI where the navigation bar is located. I dont need to see them. Theyre distracting. I use my 2 fingers and 3 finger gesture to undo/redo, so I have no use in seeing them up there. Im not going to use them. Im using my gestures instead. Please allow users to turn them off in the app settings. This is an easy fix. This should be in the next update.1 vote
Processor usage indicator
I often struggle with not knowing if nothing is happening because what I am trying to do is not supported, or if nothing is happening because the M 1 processor is just busy doing the calculations needed to execute my command.
As illustrator is rather processor consuming, it is often the latter, but I never know for sure until waiting time is over, or until I have given up hope and jumped to some other function. Some kind of “the iPad processor is busy calculating your request, please hold”-indicator would be extremely helpful thank you.1 vote
Add a quick show/hide button to reveal tool tip labels
Unlike desktop/Wacom styluses, the apple pencil has no hover state which makes it hard to know what tool does what. Would be very useful to have a quick show/hide button to quickly see hovering tool tips for each tool option in lieu of having a hover capability. Example UI attached.1 vote
Tap (finger or pencil) UNDO or REDO banner/notification to jump to the undo/redo area. I.e. I want to see what I undo/redo when I have accidentally jumped art boards.
Without the screen real estate of a desktop or laptop, it can be easy to get lost in a smaller and easily rescalable (i.e. “quick pinch gesture” to jump to art board) workspace.1 vote
