Taper was added to the Blob Brush setting. This update is available in the latest version 1.3.

In the desktop version of illustrator, there are several presets for lines, like tapered lines, as well as a tool with which you can freely edit the line width freely.
This option would help greatly to make illustrations look handdrawn and natural.
Maybe adding the preset brush styles from the desktop version might be good with option to customise.(Imagine is not my own, simply serves to show what I mean)
