Select objects with the same fill & stroke color in one click
Awesome feature from Desktop version!!! It would be great if there a tool which can select all objects with the same fill and stroke color in one click

Selecting all of the same color like the magic wand on desktop is an absolutely essential graphic design and illustration workflow tool. Manually selecting every single shape of the same color within a complex design is a cripplingly slow task, making iPad Illustrator nearly unusable for me. I’m super disappointed with how nerfed IPad Illustrator really is, it’s a mediocre app at best for the most basic vector graphics tasks.

This is so beneficial and I hate having to go to the desktop for something this easy.

I second this. And similar fonts is also useful.

Please add this feature to iPad version. It’s essential for creating plaid twill designs!

So dissapointed this feature isn’t there, we use it every day to colour split complex files and we can’t do that on the otherwise awesome ipad app

This is absolutely crucial for working in Illustrator - the iPad needs a magic wand tool, and the ability to select objects by the same color. Integration with isolation, so that you can select by color within groups with the magic wand would also be important.

Yes! I was coming to request this. An addition to the new Vectorize feature! The same way that expanding and Recolor Artwork works in Image Trace for the desktop version.
The only way I can see to do this now in the iPad version is to Vectorize, set the desired amount of colors in the Properties tab, and editing the colors by selecting each individual layer containing the color. Much longer process than the desktop version. -

I was hoping I was wrong and there was a way to do this- it’s CRAZY that there is not!! Does that mean the entire color feature of adjusting one color to another doesn’t exist? I should’ve kept to my laptop Illustrator until this was all worked out. Yikes!

Yes absolutely a must have. When working with complex artwork especially from other designers that may not layer or group correctly having the ability to select similar fill and or stroke can save hours. Additionally when preparing artwork for digital printing that look similar but print very different being able to select for example everything with 100% black and verify vs colors that look the same on screen like 100k/100c/100m/100y is extremely important. Some printers won’t accept PMS colors it’s helpful to be able to select all of those same colors and convert to a cmyk version. I could just be missing a tool that I’m not seeing on this unfamiliar platform. Any help would be appreciated.

When I have add a color for the stroke, I have now to go to the other side to edit the properties on the stroke.
