Agreed! Right now, the long workaround is to use the Assign color bars to remove unwanted colors from recoloring by clicking the arrows, then re-sort the color by choosing Auto, then hop over to the Edit color wheel. If the color circles have not updated, then click the buttons to change the color wheel style - when recolor artwork 'wakes up', you will see your chosen colors locked together and ready to move. This is way too many steps for something that is already possible, but could be so much easier and more useful.

I agree! And to add to this request - those important Color Reduction Settings in Advanced Options (preserve black, white, etc.) do persist, but there is no way to access them on the main Recolor panel. There needs to be a button on the main panel for Color Reduction Options - as it is now, they are "hidden" over in Advanced Options, so people don't know why they can't recolor black, etc. And a big yes to undo on Advanced Options like we have on the main panel.

Please Adobe fix this - we have to deal with double groups from dynamic symbols, or sublayers from static symbols when we break the link. Let us choose with a setting at least. The extra cleanup takes time. Yes, I can still group to avoid many sublayers, but it creates a sublayer even for a group.

Yes! This is important! Sublayers are hard to "clean" up if you don't want them in your file. If it's a one layer file, sure you hit Flatten, but otherwise prepare to spend the next hour dragging and dropping... groups are way easier, and they are expected, because that's the behavior of dynamic symbols.

Also, dynamic symbols are always double-grouped when you break the link, even when the original art is a single ungrouped path. Is that necessary?

  7. Wrong exported image size (extra pixel added) if artboard coordinates are non-integer, not pixel-perfect

This issue is probably happening because the artboard dimensions are not appropriate for raster export (i.e. are in decimals).
If you make x and y values as the whole numbers in the transform panel (not in decimal), then the extra pixels will not be added to the exported image.

That is the workaround, and it’s reported that it’s not always the case.

At the same time — Ai knows the size of artboards to be exported and yet it does not deliver the set sizes, which is not fair. The team is going to rethink the algorithm.

I use the custom toolbars feature, but it needs improving. I would love to have a starter toolbar or preset starters that I could then edit. It is simpler to remove tools you don't want, and then save it. Instead, we're given an empty toolbar that you then have to tediously add tools to begin customizing it.

I agree with others that this feels like a core function you'd expect in any vector drawing program—so it's surprising Illustrator doesn’t offer it natively. PathScribe is a fantastic workaround, but for selecting and moving multiple anchor points, it’s a bit like buying a car and finding out the steering wheel is sold separately.

I use the keyboard shortcut Command/Ctrl + K constantly to change the keyboard increment. I teach this to my students - PLEASE change it back ASAP. Thank you for focusing on this Egor!

Beta 30.0.0.21 introduces Font Libraries ('collections'). These are synced with your CC Libraries, but you can create these directly from the font browser. Share, rename, filter and customize these to better access your fonts, local or added ones.

Please try it and share you impressions — this means a lot for the team and will help to guide the development further.
