Deselect on iPad

I looked around and didn't find a shortcut/gesture to deselect anything, especially after using the pencil tool, In the pencil tool on the desktop version, there is an option to choose whether you want to keep last drawn line selected, or to keep it unselected.

In the settings menu you can choose to deselect by double tapping the Apple Pencil. It integrates actually very well.

Need a quick way to deselect all/anything. On pc this is an alt click off of all my art, here I have to change tools?

Gesture, button, whatever it takes.
