You need an option for a transparent background. This is essential to my work.

i noticed this is default when you export as a png, see screenshot. i had to add a layer with a white square to remove this.
Maybe they updated this. -

An alternative to just a white background so users can check whether it’s transparent or elements missed etc!
Grey or even black just to be able to see easier!
