Import AI files directly from desktop version to IpadOS version

I want to work on the same AI file that I made on the desktop Adobe Illustrator on my IPAD. Currently, there is no cross-compatibility and I cannot import my .AI files. If there is, the compatibilty needs to be more noticable and import needs to be easier.

    I cannot agree more, this completely destroyed my workflow on a project I’m working on at the moment!
