Text disappearing in Preview/other Adobe apps
Illustrator Beta 29.3
Sonoma 14.6.1
Updated my version of Beta today.
After saving a working file it no longer displays text in finders preview, or within an indesign file as a placed graphic. It displays correctly when opened in Illustrator (normal and beta versions).
Using other devices running Sequoia 15.2 the preview image and indesign file with the placed graphic also appear without text, but opening in Illustrator on that device does show it. So it's not OS related.
My only work around is to open the file and resave it in normal Illustrator and not the Beta version.

Hi Egor,
I've tried unchecking that option when saving and it still gives the same result.
The font I'm using is Futura PT Medium installed through the creative cloud app.I've attached the test file of the ones in the prior screenshots, and I can also replicate this with other ai files (both created before the update and ones created after).

Rhiannon, when saving a document in Beta, there should be a new option, 'Embed compatible font glyphs' in the Illustrator Options dialog, that forces Ai to 'bake' previews for the fonts used, so a file can be opened without having the fonts installed (but not edited). It feels like something went wrong with it. Can you try to disable it while saving and see if it changes anything?
Also — please share the details about the font used. If possible, share the test file here in comments. If you are not comfortable with sharing it publicly, please send it to sharewithai@adobe.com, and put the link to this report, so the team can track it back here: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/49227515
The team is actively testing it, so this would help to fix it before it goes into the main release. Thank you!(Edited by admin)
