When typing, Shift+R doesn't type a letter
Typing R doesn’t work. I think it's changing to the brush tool?
I can a capital letter R by using the glyph window, though.

The issue was fixed in Beta 29.7.0.14
Please comment back if you still experience the problem with the latest build.

A functioning alphabet in upper and lower case is essential for the design and typesetting of texts.

There is a bug in the current Illustrator Beta version. You cannot write the capital R in the text field.

Just checked and this does not happens in the regular version of Illustrator.
