    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    Illustrator Beta (starting with 30.9.0.52) now offers its own approach to dynamic text.

    Text auto-resizes and reflows to fit its container as we scale or reshape it. It also works with Type on a Path, so any curve we draw gets the same fit-to-space behavior.

    Please try it and share what you think about it with the team in comments — the feedback we share is shaping what gets shipped.

    • Select the Type tool. Click to add a line of text, drag to create a text area, or select an existing type object.
    • Turn on Dynamic Text (the T with a lighting bolt button) from the Contextual Task Bar, Properties, or Control panels.
    • Resize or reshape the bounding box to see the text fit itself.
    • Alter the settings in the Properties panel (only there for now)
