    This is still an issue as of April 2021.
    I'm a professional working on a fully-loaded HP laptop with a 2019 Intuos Pro tablet. The bug doesn't show up every time I use the Scale/Rotate/Shear/Reflect tools, so I can easily get lulled into a false sense of security until it wigs out again.

    Sometimes clicking into another program and clicking back does it, but more often it takes several minutes of clicking around to get it to stop. Occasionally it will freeze up the whole laptop and force a hard reset.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Illustrator, updated everything Windows will let me update. I've done everything I can think of, short of wiping the computer and reinstalling WIndows itself.

    Please fix this.
