    @ankitgoyal, your "resize save window" workaround solves my issue for SAVE, SAVE AS, and SAVE A COPY files on my desktop. thanks

    PS. this Illustrator dialogue box is new to the OS and AI upgrades from this past week

    MacOS Monterey 12.3
    Illustrator 26.1
    iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020)

    1. trying to save Illustrator files to computer; only lets me save to the cloud. even if I disable saving to the cloud, still will not allow SAVE AS or SAVE A COPY AS to computer (greyed out as explained by many others)

    Please note: this problem started with the Monterey 12.3 upgrade. Even after a complete uninstall and reinstall of CC and all apps, problem still happening
