   The problem is not fixed, alas, despite the previous fix, and everybody who tried to pick a Gradient tool after selecting a region with the Live Paint Selection tool can see this... OK, back to work with this.

   Here is the file of the actual elements/vectors/leaves I am working on. The size of the leaves has not (and should not) been adjusted for this document. Zoom in. Experience the same issue I am experiencing. How do I stop the stroke thickness from resetting every time I adjust the gradient direction?
