This is finally available in Beta 30.6.0.75

When you replace a linked image in Illustrator, you can now choose to apply that change everywhere the image appears in your file (even across multiple artboards and repeated layouts).

    How in works:

    1. Select one or more links in the Links panel and click Relink
    2. In the file picker, note the 'Replace:' dropdown below the options
    3. Choose 'All Links (N)' to replace every instance of that file in the document
    4. Choose 'Selected Links (N)' to replace only the instances you selected
    5. Pick the replacement file and click Place

Try it and leave a comment if it works and it works like you need it to.

Also, please don’t forget to upvote this request if you are interested — Display copies of links' duplicates as instances, like in InDesign

One feature suggestion was to have a relink of images like indesign, in which the same image is grouped and when relinking, the images that had dislocations were updated. Is it possible?

For me, version 27.1.1 already fixed this bug.

Has anyone tested if this bug goes away with Mac OS 16.5, released yesterday (September 12th)?

    Thanks

Hi Since the last update, whenever I save an .ai file, the save window
(see video) moves to the left, without me changing its position.

It usually appears central, I didn't change any settings, I just updated.
This problem happens since version 26.4.1
I already reset the preferences and reinstalled the Illustrator
    Can you please help?

    My system:
    MacBook Pro 16 i9 64gb ram AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB 2tb. Monterey 12.5.1
    Illustrator 26.5.0
