An error occurred while saving the comment I am a sewing pattern drafter and I wish there were a tool that would measure around curves from point to point. For example, to measure the length of an armhole which is a curve.

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.
An error occurred while saving the comment I know there are ways to measure curves by cutting the line, but it would be great to have a tool to measure around curves.

An error occurred while saving the comment It would be useful if the dimension tool would measure in cm and in. Right now it only measures in points. Both my rulers and units are set to cm, but the dimension tool is still in points.

Unfortunately, the scripts from technical illustrators does not work in illustrator 2023. :( I am hoping adobe will create a measurement tool for curves.
