   The latest Beta 29.4.0.37 now correctly treats a document as changed when a color code is paste into the HEX field in the Color panel with an object selected.

   Please test it and comment back.

   I still have this exact bug. It's incredibly annoying, I'm glad you're addressing it and hope it's fixed soon.
