I was unable to attach the file to my intial report. The system wouldn't let me post with it attached.

Windows 11 Home v22H2 64-bit using Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22644.1000.0 with OS Build 22621.1992
    12th Gen Intel(R) Core (TM) i9-12900K 3.20 GHz
    64GB RAM
    2TB SSD
    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10GB
    Illustrator v27.7

File originally created last Friday, 07/21/23
Opening the file creates the problem every time. Once opened and addressed the issue stays dormant until re-opening the file.
Upon opening and clicking all text that is "Text-on-a-path" jumbles up or disappears. Undo does not fix the issue. When text is clicked on I get a pop-up window telling me that the text was created in a "different version" of Illustrator. Illustrator has not been updated since I created the file on Friday.

    Exact text of the pop-up:
"This text was created in a different version of Illustrator. Editing the text may cause some changes to your text layout. Basic formatting will not be affected. Do you want to continue?"

I expect this to not happen, and it happens anyways.

While it is easy to fix, it's a temporary fix that takes time out of my day to do.
