    In the latest version, 27.9, correct? YES
    the previous one has not the same problem
    I dont'know about Beta version.
    Does it help to drag out a horizontal one and, before releasing it, hold Opt, to toggle it to a vertical one? YES, it works

    even deleting the cmd+H combination from the shortcuts it does not work.
    Alt+click on the desktop doesn't work either.
