    It seems like this problem happens only for Mac Sonoma users...

    Downgrading to a previous version of MacOS seems to be a viable workaround at the moment.

    This is not a proposed solution though.

    I think someone mentioned this in here, or one of the crash threads. This happens to me a lot, and I crash a lot. (and yup, MacOS Sonoma)... Anyway, if you just click illustrator then settings, the menu bar will work again. You don't even need to go into the settings, just click it. At least it's a work around and I'm grateful for the person that originally posted this work around.

    I am experiencing the same issue and it's truly infuriating when you're under the pressure of deadlines. Interestingly, I can click on "illustrator", but the rest of the menu items are completely unresponsive. You cannot access the menus via keyboard either as a workaround.

    illustrator 2024 has just been a hot mess of problems to be honest
