    Well, it's been more than five years, and things have gotten even worse — now, on top of the new feature splash screen (which is fine by me) and those annoying tooltips (which aren't), we also get uncloseable notifications in the toolbars (screenshot attached). I use a lot of panels, and I'd much rather see two more artboards in the list instead of this.
