    Thanks for your response Egor. I've attached a sample file. Maybe, I did something wrong with my preferences at some point?

    I am using Illustrator 29.8.1

    Illustrator "guides" are displayed differently for curved versus straight lines. Curved lines are appearing solid and straight lines dotted. My "guide" preferences are set to "dotted" for everything. Any ideas?

    All of a sudden, any path that is rounded makes a solid guideline and any straight path makes a dotted guide.

    Is this new?

    FYI, I have always set my guides to be dotted lines.
