    Okay, thank you for this. i don't know how but i think i've figured out my issue, im sorry if i got your hopes raised for this to be a function of AI - i would also like this feature to exist,

    i've not used adobe a lot in the last year having finished my graphic design degree i had not used it very frequently until picking up a few times here and there. I updated it when opening it for the first time in a while to create some designs for my tumblers, and i was fully convinced that i use to move the layers below in this way.

    i think i just got so use to using the comands CTRL + SHIFT + [ and CTRL + SHIFT + ] to bring my layers to the front to edit them and then once done sent them to the back where they belong again, and i got so use to doing this that it wasnt even in my mind until you told me its not possible in AI. Has made me laugh that i spent 3 hours pulling my hair out trying to find my old settings that didnt exist. Atleast i wont waste my time trying to fix it any longer, so thank you for that haha.

    hopefuly they do bring this feature to AI because affinity is on to something there, it would be greatly appreciated as a feature.
