    It is not clear on your post which version of Illustrator you are using.
    Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

    Hello, as an Adobe Illustrator user, ever since I started using Illustrator, my files have been getting locked without my permission. After finishing my designs, I save them from the File menu using “Save” or “Save As.” However, one or two days later, when I try to reopen my design from the “Recent” section, I receive the following warning:

    “The illustration cannot be opened. The file is locked or in use. ID: -54”

    I tried right-clicking the file and selecting “Unlock,” but I couldn’t even right-click on it.

    I urgently need your help. Thank you for your attention.
