Same on mac OSX high sierra. Same for photoshop. Both are ridiculously unstable. I'll try installing illustrator 2017 as well. (It's a pity we have to pay every month for "cloud versions" that turn out to be... well: ****)

These specs should in my opinion be more than enough to run drawing tools.
