   OMG yes. I just came here to suggest the same thing.

   For *reasons*, I've had to edit lots of CAD-exported maps over the last few years, which come through as MANY layers. I just had to merge tons of them together to get down from 95 layers to 40-some. I'd really rather be able to keep them separate and dump them into folders instead.

   Please share your thoughts on the following:

   1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.

   2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?

   Hi friends! I have some great news for your today. Rotate View (Canvas) feature is available in Illustrator 25.3 (Desktop) now. Thank you all for your feedback which helped us shape up this feature.
