When the art proof is saved and reopened, I double-click the font to change the item quantity, but the font style reverts to the original file font style. I am required to go back to the font menu and reassign the correct font for the proof. This has been ongoing since the last Illustrator update.

Thanks for raising this. We've looked into this issue from our side, but we're unable to reproduce the issue internally so far.

If you're still seeing it, could you help us with a few details so we can dig in further?

    • Are you still facing the issue? (yes / intermittent / no longer)
    • Machine configuration — OS and version, GPU, and Illustrator version/build
    • Reproduction rate — does it happen every time, or only sometimes?
    • A screen recording of the issue as it happens, if you can capture one
    • The AI file you were working with when the issue occurred (feel free to share a stripped-down/anonymised version if the original is confidential)

If the issue is 100% reproducible on your machine, we'd be happy to set up a short debug session with you.

Thanks for your patience and for helping us track this down.

    Warm regards,

    Aishwarya G Gadodia

I noticed few bug fixes with Illustrator v23.0.6 update but it's still bogging my machine down. My work machine runs on i5-9700k (6-core) 3.70ghz processor, 32GB RAM, and RTX 2070 graphics card. I was forced to downgrade to v22.0 and now it runs 30-40% better! Why is that? We use Illustrator for 90% of our workload here. I've used Adobe products since 1995 and I've never been so frustrated with Adobe products. Really disappointed.

I'm a creative director by day. My work machine has 9th gen (6-core) Intel processor, 32GB RAM and GeForce RTX 2070. The latest Adobe CC 2019 Illustrator has started to constantly freeze up and crash almost on daily basis in past few months. I've uninstalled and reinstalled quite few times. Nothing has helped. I've used Adobe apps for over 20+ years and I don't remember it being this lame. It's getting freakin' tiresome.
