    Hello,

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience and disappointment the issue has caused. We do test our products thoroughly including running it through multiple beta testers and we really regret that this issue slipped past our quality checks.
We have a fix and is available in the pre-release build. Please visit https://adobe.ly/1o2SDsg and get the latest build for version 23.0.5 (Build 2). While the build is prerelease this build is still of production quality. Please feel free to use/recommend it for your day to day activity.
We would appreciate if you can give us the feedback on the correctness of the fix by pressing the Thumbs up button on the UserVoice page.

    Regards,
Raghuveer Singh | Sr. Software Product Quality Specialist | Illustrator Team

It's still crashing unfortunately even occasionally with the normal brush. Please confirm that you're still working on it.

Unfortunately I spoke too soon. While the normal paintbrush tool seems to be fine, the Blob paintbrush tool is very laggy and will cause a crash eventually. Please advise.

So far we have no been able to get it to crash, which is good.

Now that we're running a test version, will Creative Cloud automatically update to the production version when it comes out officially?

We are having the same issue with our HP Spectre x360 pen. Anywhere from immediately to 20-30 minutes into using the pen that came with the laptop, Illustrator crashes without an error message. We've gone through several layers of technical support and they can't figure it out. They say it's the bug cataloged here and it needs to be fixed. This is an expensive piece of software and using a pen/stylus is essential for artists.
