    I cannot set the correct number of repeats and the orientation is strange.
    I want three down and two across.
    The count and Preview are only visible on the Radial page of the palette.
    Shouldn't there be a place to set number of objects across and number down?
    Attaching screen shots and single object .ai file.

    This is one of the reasons I always go back to ID for my work.l I tried using Illustrator but it is just too frustrating!

    transform palette whacked insane broken weird strange odd

    Adobe CC AI 26.3.1 on Mac 10.14 Monterey

    I type in numbers. It changes them.

    I set a number. My object does not go there.

    I rely on this numerical placement all the time, and it is broken! 

    I typed 16 inches in both instances, once with proportion on and once with. it off.

    Solved by moving to a layer with fewer paths on it.
