    Hey Avinash! This is worrking really well but my opinion is that it still needs binding to an accelerator key (my suggestion: 8) so that it can be accessed quickly. The spring-loaded functionality that Photoshop has works brilliantly with their implementation and it would be great to have this in Illustrator, too!

    There is a precedent for using the numeric keys (perpendicular movement with the Perspective Grid) so would this be a problem?

    If you need me to clarify any of theis with a quick screen-cap I'm happy to do!
