I got in touch with support and I had to delete the preferences file.

    Try this first:
Launch Illustrator > Click on Illustrator > click on preferences > Click on performance and turn off GPU performance.

    Try This second:
We have to reset the application preferences. Doing this will remove all of your custom settings
Please save your file and close all Adobe application.

Please close all Adobe related processes in Activity monitor (Creative cloud, Core sync, CC library, services for Adobe desktop app, Adobe desktop service, Adobe IPC broker, AAM updater).

Now, please click on Go > go folders and type "~/library" > click on preferences folders, there you will find

Adobe Illustrator 22 setting, please rename it to Adobe Illustrator 22setting.oldIn the same folder you will find Adobe folder, please open it there you will find Adobe Illustrator, please rename it to Adobe Illustrator.old

Now please open Creative Cloud Desktop application and sign in after that please launch illustrator and check is it working fine for you?
