Allow to edit predefined and add new preset sizes for each document profile (like A1, A5...)
I regularly design flyers in A5 size and it would be great to have that as a new document preset in addition to A4 and A3
The recently announced change pushed into Beta 28.6.578 refers to this similar request: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/35253820
The users can now use save custom presets within the Saved tab in the New Document dialog (modern one, not the legacy one). Please provide the dedicated feedback there.
As for the ability to change the existing predefined sizes for each document profile (Print, Web, etc,), like A1, A5, etc, — this is not yet available. Stay tuned and sorry for the misfire.

The new(ish) file new in illustrator has a lovely overview of theses presets, but thinks like the missing A5 AND the lack of any sensible way to save your own presets (see: any other Adobe app) makes me wonder what the point is of this entire window.

I can edit document profiles, but I can't make presets for sizes I use and get rid of unwanted sizes in New document window.
Please add interface for doing it. -

Would love to know how to save document presents in the new 'Saved' tab.
Crazy that you can not easily set up A0, A1, A2, A5, A6 etc etc document presets.
Appears that the 'Saved' tab could be for that, but still do not know how to do it!

Can you please create and offer native print templates for A0-A8?

Custom Presets work in Photoshop, cant be that difficult to implement in Illustrator?

I agree completely! I can't believe Illustrator has been going for about 30 years and no one at Adobe has thought to add in presets for A6, A5, A2, etc.

Yes please! But further than that - make the presets easily customisable! I consistantly work with A2, A1 & A0 . How do you make something appear under the saved tab?? Where are my templates? Currently it is massively over complicated and yet still doesn't work.

Yes, the whole process is a bit confused and should be easier than it is. You can save a template, but who knows how you retrieve it.
