Changing an object not updating it in Asset Export
In this video Export assets for web and app design | it's all like perfect — after changing object color — it's will be updated too in asset export, yes...
But in real life I want not just change a color, I want to made much more changes, just by adding new polygons path, and so — it will not update asset at export. Because only what I've selected before and dragged into asset will be updated.
What needs to be done — if I right click on polygons which already "connected" with asset for export — in menu should be added a new option, like "Update export asset".

I did a lot of research trying to find ways to do this, but realized that there was no such resource yet. I was already going to propose it, until I saw this suggestion, which I ratify and hope it will be addressed soon.

Oh, yes. I honestly expected it to update assets with Opt/Alt-drag over the existing one, the same exact way we can do with symbols-styles-swathces-brushes, but it just adds a new one instead. Ridiculous! Both drag-n-drop method and a menu command (with a hotkey slot!) should exist.

YES, so important. Thanks for pointing it out! An adobe agent transferred me to your addition idea and I think it is crucial.

It would be really nice to be able to update an asset in the Asset Export panel with the current selection. Why? Here's my example…
I have 6 assets in my file, each with different names, each containing different objects, but each sharing a logo.
Client says to change the logo. Now I need to remake all 6 assets instead of being able to paste in the new logo and updating the assets.
Suggestion: In the Asset Export panel, with an asset selected, allow the user to update the selected asset with the selected objects.

Actually this option "Update export asset" can be easily programmed, just by checking - if selection contains: polygons which refers to one of export asset(so find object which should be updated) and new polygons(which isn't added into any export asset). Thats it.
With it I can easily update existing export asset with new polygons path etc. -

Actually this half a bug and half a feature request, because I can't use Asset Export feature, or I would need every time I'm changing object - find & removed it from asset panel and re-add, this is awkward...
