XD style snapping and spacing
Adobe Experience Design has a nice snapping and spacing function that would drastically increase the power of Illustrator. Being able to more easily repeat objects and adjust the spacing between them by clicking and dragging while being able to see a measure of the spacing.

@Sanay, both Figma and XD are specialized UI editors, and the information they give about distances is crucial for their purpose.
Illustrator, however, is a more general tool, about vector graphics in general (although the name implies 'illustrating').
While controlling spacing can be crucial for some cases, it’s not that important as many other things the majority of users want to get and, I believe, the team thinks are right to make... This request so far has only 8 votes. When and if it gets more will influence the chances to get it. Thank you for the vote! -

You've got to come up with the ability to check spacing between two objects/elements (like figma and XD shows when you press alt and hover over other object). Why doesnt Illustrator have that already??? -
