Allow to quickly define new custom arrowheads
I use custom arrow heads for a lot of projects and would like an easier interface for creating and managing custom arrow heads. I want to be able to rearrange the order of the arrow heads available as well as have fine grained control over how the arrow head will scale with stroke size. Non-symmetrical arrow head support is important to my work as well.
Also, I really want to be able to place an arrow head at one end of a path at the tip and have the arrow head at the other end extend beyond the end of the path.
Thanks!

To add a new arrowhead a user should locate the 'Arrowheads.ai' file in the bowels of Illustrator, to open it, to make changes, and then to relaunch Ai (hopefully without making a mistake while trying), as described here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/stroke-object.html#customize_arrowheads
The way Ai does it feels like a hack still, something that an engineer made as a test solution, which never got its own native way to manage presets, similar to variable stroke profiles, or symbols (and even brushes, which should be improved for sure: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/44725501)
Please add a way to add new arrowheads without digging and relaunching.

At the moment the only way to edit existing arrowheads or create new ones is through modifying the dedicated file: https://www.vektorgarten.de/illustrator-settings.html#19
Sure it should be streamlined and improved. -

Would still really love to see this happen! It’s 2020!

Just thought about adding this feature request and realised I've already done it. But I definitely agree with myself from the first time!
