Allow Security Settings to be saved as Adobe PDF Preset
Allow Adobe PDF presets to support passwords and security settings. If you select passwords and security settings in the Export Adobe PDF dialog box, and then click Save Preset, the passwords and security settings will be preserved.

I also work for a screen printing company, where the potential for stolen artwork to be printed by a competitor is a considerable risk. For ease of use by my team it would be very useful to be able to save these settings in a preset to ensure security throughout all of our proofing processes.

Even though I have a preset when saving my PDF from Illustrator, the security settings never save. Often I have to send out files to people who I must have files locked. But every time I save a pdf I have to type in the same password and change the settings under security. Please let the preset save security settings.

Why is this not yet a feature?

I would also love to have this feature. I work for a screen printer and send proofs out all day long. I would love to have a preset that included the same password for all my outgoing proofs so I don't have to manually apply one for every proof I save. My proofs usually have vector art that I do not want the art to be able to be ripped from the PDF's in the even that the customer has not already paid for the art services.
