Drag color swatch onto artboard to make a square with the fill color.
It would be nice for creating style sheets to be able to drag a swatch onto the artboard and have it just make a square of that color.

I agree. I was just trying to do that and found this post. It would be nice to drag from library, have the 5 bar color swatches, then export as pdf to pick out color scheme.

I don't agree with this.
Drag-n-drop is also used as a way to apply color. You can easily miss and create square instead off applying.
