Eliminate the Adobe Search Pane in the top right of illustrator
Adobe does not seem to be able to fix the problem of Adobe search being selected by default when a file is opened. I use a master layout page & am constantly pasting art I have copied to the pasteboard into the stupid, virtually useless Adobe search window. It immediately hangs Illustrator which eventually crashes.
This bug is ridiculously enraging. I cannot believe Adobe has not addressed this. It can't just be me having this issue

The search bar in the top right corner is gone and is replaced with a button with a magnifier icon — it now calls the new Discover window.
Please check how you like it now and reply back.

commentedThis! Please give us a way to completely remove or disable the search bar. I've never ever used it and don't plan on doing so. It being the selected default when I switch back to the app is a constant pain in the butt and disrupts the workflow.

commentedIf Adobe cannot figure out how to prevent the search pane from being selected by default, they should just eliminate it. I frequently paste complex elements from other files into the pane causing illustrator to crash, as the pane is selected with an active insertion point by default. Also it prevent certain (but not all) interaction with Illustrator until the window is clicked on. It is endlessly frustrating to the point of a breakdown. I have lost one monitor already to this problem. Please please fix this so the pane cannot ever be activated until directly clicked on
