An error occurred while saving the comment Barron commentedTwo problems with the "Search Adobe Stock" search pane. It is somehow activated, so when the enter or return is pushed, a browser window pops up, switching apps, very annoying. Worse, it is activated upon opening a master page, and when you attempt to paste the large file on the clipboard onto the page, it is instead pasted into the search pane immediately crashing Illustrator

The solution is pushed into Global Availability build 28.6.
The team intends to add another command into this menu, allowing to copy the path. That’s it.
This request crucially lacks feedback from all the voters. Please comment back: do it if you don’t like how it works, and do it if you do.

Adobe. Make It an Experience.PS: We are only referring to the issue that got introduced in CC 2018. As I can see there were few workflows that were existing even in older releases. Please log a separate request for it so that we all can track it better
An error occurred while saving the comment Barron commentedWe should be able to paste anything, anywhere, anytime without illustrator popping up some dumb message about elements being outside the pasteboard, or my fave "The Requested Transformation Would Make Some Objects Too Large" WTF? If I want to make it larger, I should be able to. When large elements need to be placed, it shouldn't be any problem. I have a > 200" image I need to cut into four parts to place on press sheets, and I shouldn't have to go into Photoshop & chop it up just because Illustrator can't handle it.

The search bar in the top right corner is gone and is replaced with a button with a magnifier icon — it now calls the new Discover window.
Please check how you like it now and reply back.Barron supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Barron commentedIf Adobe cannot figure out how to prevent the search pane from being selected by default, they should just eliminate it. I frequently paste complex elements from other files into the pane causing illustrator to crash, as the pane is selected with an active insertion point by default. Also it prevent certain (but not all) interaction with Illustrator until the window is clicked on. It is endlessly frustrating to the point of a breakdown. I have lost one monitor already to this problem. Please please fix this so the pane cannot ever be activated until directly clicked on
This feature would be invaluable to me. I did the plist flip many moons ago after Adobe inverted it, and now there is no way to undo it, and successive move commands on the y axis result in a reversal of movement ie: first movement set to negative will be negative, a successive move command in the pos direction of the identical distance will still result in a negative movement. Now there is no way to fix this without tossing my plist which of course is not an option as I have been nursing it for 15yrs+
