Scrollable Panels and Tools
I want to be able to scroll panel and tool windows.
Panels:
I want to keep my most-used panels open in a scrollable sidebar rather than having to expand and collapse them. Generally speaking, expanding a tool collapses another. This leads to unnecessary clicks and movement. Unless I choose to collapse a panel, it should remain open — respect my intention! I expect panels to remain in the same place I left them, not shift up or down according to which panel was opened last.
Tools:
On a small screen, the single-column toolbar gets cut off by the application frame, making the bottom tools inaccessible. There is no excuse for this.
I know this will likely fall on deaf ears but I figure it's worth a shot.

Here today looking for ideas that improve the tools panel specifically. I typically use a 1440 monitor at home but when coming into the office only have access to 1080. My tools falls off the bottom of the screen and I can't access the edit function at the bottom of it.
I'm in the process of having to create a new toolbar just for the office visits! Seriously please just make it scrollable...
Additionally, make it wrap to 3 columns, or more!
Optionally make the thing stackable when docked so that I can make a custom grouping like we can with all the other panels

Jeff, one can make a panel stay until it is closed, if you disable Auto-Collapse Iconic Panels option in Preferences > User Interface section.
As for the toolbars — yeah, they don’t have a way to get scrolled when trimmed by the app’s frame... voted.
