Add keyboard shortcut for Locate Object button in Layers Palette
Every button and every command in AI should be bound-able to hotkey.

Yes, please – I use this functionality quite often and a shortcut would definitely save some time.

+1. Ditto. It seems like you can't assign locate object to an action anymore either.
