An error occurred while saving the comment Rene Andritsch commentedYes, please – I use this functionality quite often and a shortcut would definitely save some time.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rene Andritsch commentedOpening a multi-page PDF still trips me up after more than two decades of using Illustrator because InDesign’s way is more intuitive. In InDesign the previewed page is by default the page that gets imported. This option does not exist in Illustrator but I think this is actually how you would expect the dialogue to work. WYSIWYG would be highly appreciated. See a comparison of the dialogues below. In this example InDesign imports page 6 out of 8 while Illustrator will obviously open page 1 despite previewing page 6 – not fully intuitive.

It is possible now to set up a custom scale in Ai Beta 28.4.0.2.
In Dimension Tool Options dialog open the Scale dropdown and choose custom to get the Custom Scale dialog.
It works for decimal scales only, like 1:12 or 1:15, but not for Imperial scales like 1/16"
Please try it and comment back.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rene Andritsch commentedThis would be a welcome addition for many users, as documents can have almost any kind of scale.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rene Andritsch commentedCMD + arrow keys move the cursor across words. I think it has done so for the past 25 years. That is how long I work with those apps. ALT + arrow keys always kerned. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and even After Effects.
An option in the Preferences would be a welcome thing so users can change it at their convenience but I would not change the default behavior. But that is a personal opinion.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rene Andritsch commentedPlease add a “Pin” option like the one in Photoshop. At the moment the positioning is remembered on a per document which is not pleasant when working on several documents at the same time as you have to move it out of the way in every document. Thank you!

An error occurred while saving the comment Rene Andritsch commentedYes please add this feature! Also in terms of uniformity for the UI of Adobe apps this would be beneficial. But foremost because it is a great way to organize and assign your own shortcuts.
Also being able to search for menu commands is a great feature.
