Welcome Back To Illustrator screen customization
Two changes to the Welcome Screen:
1.- Ability to edit the "Start a New File Fast" group (like, in the US, I'd like to replace the A4 format with the more used US Letter Size?)
2.- Add a "Clear All Recent" button/option to clear all recently opened files (or follow the similar Photoshop model to clear files).
Thanks

Brilliant idea, as an illustrator I have go-to templates and this would be super quick and useful for a launch window

How come in Europe we have the LS as standard?
Love to have the A4 size instead :) -

The welcome screen is currently static and unintelligent. It annoys me every time I launch the program, so much so that I've googled ways to change it, to no avail.
Either it should be customizable OR it should show what default templates I have recently used.
Currently it's just a huge UX annoyance for all who don't use many/any of the options.

Why can't we edit what is the choices in this area?

The suggestion is to implement what is, already, available in Photoshop: File/Open Recent/Clear Recent File List). This is not, obviously,t a global preference but something that can be done "on the fly". So, please add the same capability to Illustrator (and InDesign, etc). Separately, the "Start a new file fast" box needs to be customizable perhaps somewhere in the Preferences panel as I don't believe users would want to mess with that too often after it's setup once. Right now, the EU size A4, not the most used size in the US is useless and defeats the "fast" part of the area's name (I'm rather puzzled by Adobe's choice to have this odd, non-US standard-size show up in the US). Thanks.
