Option for Artboards to be non-printing
Would be very useful if there could be a setting in the Artboards palate that could make them 'non-printing' (Like in Layers) - I use a lot of pre-prepared template files and sometimes don't use all Artboards, so to 'turn them off' rather than having to delete (as I may need them later in a job) or keep changing print options would be great.

Egor: An object spanning artboards would print/export when each specific artboard is configured to print/export.
Consider:
Do we output an object when the artboard is output-suppressed? No.
Do we output an object when the artboard is output-enabled? Yes.
Does it matter if the object overlaps several overlapping dartboards with different output settings? No. Outputting an artboard = outputting an artboard. If an artboard is suppressed, it's irrelevant what objects it overlaps. -

Egor - I think in this case, it's why it would be an option, as not all would need it. I'm not sure in my use of Artboards why you would have objects spanning multiple boards (except for large format printing?!) but in which which case you wouldn't need to make them 'non-print'.
The default would be to print, with the option to disable any print in the Artboard prefs, or a check button on the Artboard list? Would be a simple application if it can be done already with Layers?
It's just easier than remembering numbers before you export or print.

The problem with this can be caused by the fact artboard can overlap each other, and one object can be placed inside of several artboards, or overlap some, or be a small part of another artboard while almost fully placed into another one.
How do you intend to work around these problems?
Let’'s discuss it. -

Hi - it would be super-handy to have a preference in the Artboard settings for 'non-printing/exporting' – I often have multiple boards, and some are for sketches for a design, and don't want those to print or save to an export file. It would save the hassle of having to manually see which number artboard I want to omit, or having to save a new file and delete them. Thanks!

I create templates with a page/artboard of instructions that hardly ever need to be printed. Come on Adobe, make this a JDI feature! :)
