Show HEX value in swatch panel
I often need to copy HEX values from illustrator swatches into other applications. My workflow would be accelerated if there was a text field showing the HEX value like in the color picker window.
Right now I need to apply the swatch to an object and copy the HEX value from the color picker window.
Hi Everyone,
This functionality is available in our latest release build – 27.6.1.
Hex code for the colors is visible in the Color and Swatch Option Panel. It will be visible for Global Colors as well. You can easily copy the Hex value by clicking on '#' icon before the code.

Thank you for all the feedback.

I can't believe this isn't a more common problem. Do people really just copy and paste each code? What the ****, Adobe

Can't believe it's not just a "hidden" feature obscured by some arcane setting...
Universal support of HEX values needs to happen on all color pickers everywhere!

I came here, thinking someone was going to tell me how to be able to use HEX value in Illustrator. Now I'm disappointed, because I realize it's still not a feature in the 2021 update.

Literally make or break feature. Most of my job is policing artwork for brand colors.

Yes, please make HEX values ubiquitous - so much easier to work with 1 number for a color rather than 4 for CMYK or 3 for RGB, etc.

Yes please, it's 2020.

Agreed. This would be very helpful to my workflow as a print designer, web designer and illustrator. I need to be able to make global changes to existing, in-use color (global process) swatches. I need to make those changes with HEX#.
