Make deleting a layer simpler and closer to how Photoshop handles it
Bad UX. See screenshot in tweet.
Things I've tried to do to delete a layer in this terrible program:
Clicking the layer + pressing delete
Result: lol doesn't work. It just deletes what you have in focus in your artboard.
Yes, you can have MANY things in focus for some reason.Right clicking the layer to try to find some sort of edit options
Result: does NOTHINGManually selecting the shapes in the artboard (a painstaking task that involves NOT selecting other shapes and paths accidentally? Super fun), then pressing delete
Result: THIS WORKS (but like, seriously??? There has to be a better way)THE SOLUTION THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLY HARD TO FIND:
a. Click this mystery hamburger
menu (so intuitive)
b. Navigate the 20-something ooptions, some of which are irrelevant to the selection
c. Click the delete button.
RESULT: IT WORKS! but I am frustrated by this experience.

It's just one solution. Two more:
1. Drag that 'buzz' to the trash icon in the bottom right corner of the palette
2. Click circle to the right of the 'buzz' and then press Delete
The question is valid though. I've no idea why right click still does nothing almost anywhere in AI.
