save template permissions error Mac.
In 24.0 it seems that there is a file permissions bug that prevents templates being saved into the default Templates folder. App sandboxing and file permissions may not have been defined in the Desktop Mac app.
- Save As Template...
- Name it Save

Yes, very uncomfortable that Adobe decided to choose a folder without writing permissions.
@adobe I think the Documents folder is the best place for templates. Ot at least for User Templates.

If we follow the breadcrumbs, the templates folder for Illustrator (on Mac) is in the Adobe Illustrator applications folder. Writing back to the Applications folder is not a great place to be writing files to as we move to better file security. Ideally should be in Application Support/.....
